All cabinets in the data center have been custom designed, are lockable, have two 20amp power feeds and contain 45U of server space. With the ability to scale to 80amps of power the site allows for maximum space utilization and the ability to fill the cabinets with up to 40 web servers.
Headquartered in San Francisco, California we actually started out as a web design company right in the middle of the 'dot com' crash. As others closed their doors around us, we succeeded because of our focus on the practicalities of internet commerce for small and medium sized businesses.
Web engineering
One of the things we found we were best at, was what we called 'web engineering', the nuts and bolts of how web sites worked in the now reinvented world of ecommerce. Site and server management became a speciality which eventually led to the hosting side spinning off into it's own separate operating unit - ServeLink.
Simplicity
We watched as one massively funded internet startup after another failed, and the area round our offices in San Francisco's SoMa went from being the center of an industry to a ghost town. Meanwhile, we continued to develop our own niche in helping to bring the real power of the internet within the reach of real companies.
The secret of our success was to remove the barriers surrounding ecommerce, and make it more accessible to those on a smaller budget and without specialist skills. With our help you can build your own web store, bring it to the market and deliver your products to a gobal audience.
